Investigation about tourism image optimization of Lugu lake scenic area based on internet reviews

Abstract Summary
Tourism image is significant to construction of scenic areas and enhancement of scenic competitiveness. Many scenic areas are facing some problems such as ignoring own cultural values, tourism activities’ homogenization. It is meaningful to define the tourism image. With the rapid development of the internet and the application of big date technology, online comments have become an important means to get tourists’ evaluation. From users’ perspective, Researching on online comments is helpful to clear core attraction point of scenic areas, identify culture features, shape the scenic area image and improve the satisfaction of tourists. For the purpose, this paper takes Lugu lake scenic area as an example. First of all, we extract informations about tourism resources, tourism infrastructures and service facilities based on the comments data on the review website, and filter effective data. Secondly, by analyzing word frequency and photos data, we can analyze Lugu lake’s core attraction points. Combined with sentiment analysis software, satisfaction evaluation system is constructed. Thirdly, through superimposing the location of tourist attractions and service facilities such as Stores, hotels, restaurants, we can get tourists activity density of Lugu lake scenic spot. Combining with online rating heat and scores, the paper divides the scenic area into four space types: high heat and high ratings , high heat but low ratings, low heat but high ratings, low heat and low ratings. Furthermore, we put forward optimization Suggestions of tourism image for each space type based on satisfaction evaluation system. Online Comments are encouraged to spread among tourists, and creates a geometric growth rate in exposure and influence. Tourism image optimization based on internet reviews is the embodiment of public participation in the new era, which is helpful to realize the application value of big in urban planning practice, and is of great importance to shaping and enhancing the competitiveness of scenic spots.
