Dynamic urban modeling construction for urban operation

Abstract Summary
Infrastructure systems, no doubt as the supported system of urban, though usually built in invisible places like underground, supply us energy for everyday activities, maintaining urban function, just like the vessel of human body. Sensing systems, such as cameras, sensors, which are more and more applied in nowadays cities, strongly push the evolution of smart city, play the same role as human sense organs. Urban functioning like a machine with different input and output connected with human behaviors, which is also another important system producing abundant real-time trace. These systems construct the urban as complex as the human neural networks. Due to the complexity of urban systems, studies indicated that how to use them efficiently in the metropolis was still a challenge, but with the development of technology and more cognition of urban regularity, we now have ability and chances to make integration of these systems mentioned above, modeling, recording and analyzing the dynamic flow, along with assets management and strategic urban services, which implemented in platforms we called Urban Virtual Operation(UVO). In the case of CloudCity, China, our UVO platform modeling high accuracy scene, meanwhile mapping database, construct the urban- architecture-component structure systems, which is the basic for whole-factor digital assets management. Further more, tracing the behaviors of different participants, such as government, investors, companies, designers, residents, let the data flow in and out. Like the scan for human body, we scan the city, building up the whole space-time container for not only static assets, but also tracing the changes. The case is still in progress, while cooperate with the different participants, strategies are come up in land development phases, construction phases, and operation phases with professional analysis from data recorded, such as development plan, energy utilization, maximizing public value and balance the market value. Also, assets management is becoming more intelligent. Meanwhile public services will be more efficient with ideas in disaster response strategy and so on.
