Abstract
Since 2015, with the constraints of urban land resources, the main line of urban construction in Shanghai has shifted from incremental planning to stock planning, entering the urban renewal stage with the improvement of construction space and functions as the core. The urban development model has shifted from material renewal to human life. At the same time, Shanghai has issued a number of policies to promote urban and community development, and to open up public spaces in the community. This paper first introduces the concepts related to participatory planning and the theories related to community public space renewal. Then it combs the planning concepts and practical cases of using the participatory planning to update the community public space in the three countries of the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan; At the same time, the main methods of demonstration, discussion and induction are used to explore the practical experience of participating in the planning of public space renewal in Shenzhen, Chengdu, Beijing and Taipei. While carrying out spatial analysis of planning, combined with the context of sociology, this paper analyzes the current situation of urban community public space renewal, and proposes multi-participation, multi-link participation, community public space as the carrier, and top-down to bottom-down. Participatory planning work methods for community planners who are the communicators. It is also proposed that in the process of community public space renewal, the concept of participatory planning is not only a working method of spatial renewal, but also a value concept, which requires planning interdisciplinary method operation and a new way of thinking for planners. Then it analyzes the public space update process of Shanghai community, sorts out the policy background and updates the status quo, points out the lack of community level public space update method, it is difficult to collect multi-group space update demand, lack of high-quality public communication space and rest space, lack of community planner The role is accurately positioned, it is difficult to keep the space running after the update is completed, and other important cases such as the Shanghai micro-space plan and the community garden practice based on participatory transformation are summarized. The strategy of the public space update process of three communities in Shanghai is proposed, and the feasibility of using participatory planning to mitigate and further solve the new problems is analyzed. It focuses on how Shanghai Weifang Community, Xinhua Community and Xianxia Community combine participatory planning to solve the material space problems and social problems in the public space of the community. It proposes: 1. Introducing participatory planning to define spatial issues and communities. Update the demand; 2, improve the supporting infrastructure, enrich the community service function; 2, create high-quality communication space, stimulate community neighborhood communication; 3, design important landscape nodes, enhance community space attractiveness; 5, pay attention to follow-up space operations, maintain community Site vitality 5 community public space update strategy.
